Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the developer of Sky Grid ("we," "us," Takumi Eto) — not with Apple — and govern your use of the Sky Grid app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What the app does

Sky Grid is a morning photo streak app: you take one photo of the sky each morning, and the app extracts its average color into a square in a 365-day grid ("Sky Grid"). You can optionally connect with "buddies" to see each other's daily photos under a mutual-blur system.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Subscriptions and purchases

Sky Grid offers the following in-app purchases, billed through your Apple ID:

Daily captures, buddies, alarms, and the newest 30 days of sky photos are free. This archive window rolls forward each day. Pro unlocks your full photo archive and full-year share card.

Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically for the same term and price you agreed to at purchase, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy, and may vary by region. All payments, refunds, and billing disputes are handled by Apple under its own terms — we cannot issue refunds directly.

Your content and conduct

You're responsible for the photos and content you post. Don't use the app to post content that is illegal, abusive, impersonates someone else, or violates another person's rights. You can report a buddy's photo or profile from within the app; we review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account at any time. This cannot be undone and does not automatically cancel an active subscription — cancel separately in iOS Settings if you don't want it to renew.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. We (not Apple) are solely responsible for the app's content and for addressing any claims relating to it, including product liability, regulatory, or consumer-protection claims.

Third-party terms

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with any applicable third-party agreements (for example, your wireless data plan terms). You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Changes to these Terms

If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify you in-app.
